Each year on the fourth Thursday in November, Americans gather for a day of feasting, football and family. And while today’s Thanksgiving celebrations would likely be unrecognizable to attendees of the original 1621 harvest meal, it continues to be a day for Americans to come together around the table. Although nearly 50 million turkeys will be consumed Thanksgiving Day this year, venison was the protein of choice for the first Thanksgiving.
Perhaps the real purpose of the holiday is to slow down and appreciate family and friends and many of the things for which we should be thankful – and often take for granted.
In this season for giving thanks and expressing gratitude, all of us at Purchasing Power want to thank you, our clients, for your continued association with us and for helping to make an employee purchase program such an important part of benefits packages today.
Thank you for your partnership with us and including our employee purchase program in your employee benefits package.
