EMPLOYERS’ VOLUNTARY BENEFITS MISCONCEPTIONS MAY AFFECT EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION

Our new Benefits Misconceptions Infographic illustrates three misconceptions you may have about voluntary benefits when it comes to what they mean to employees, how they impact your key initiatives, and how many you should offer. 

For example, 78 percent of employers think that the voluntary benefits their company offers reflect the diverse needs of the employees. Guess what? Those employers are wrong – only 29 percent of employees strongly agree that their benefits do provide diversity. In fact, a recent study shows that companies that offer 11 or more voluntary benefits have the highest employee satisfaction.
